Summer always fly's by! You look back and ask 'where did it go?'
June was busy for me and I was SO EXCITED I was busy with my photography gigs. Before taking off to Penticton at the end of June I hung out one evening with, Julia. Julia is a friend of mine who is a local photographer/writter/and is also obsessed with the USA (one day we will live there haha). We went out to a few farm area's near Cordova Bay in Victoria and found some tall grass and let the light shine on our little photography shoot. June was jam packed full of being busy, traveling, and enjoying the start of the summer. At the end of June I got to go back to Penticton, shoot a grad session and hang out with my favourite human being in the world - Brayden. He's my cousin, but is more like a little brother to me. Brayden is just the best. Hilarious, outgoing, TALENTED ATHLETE (skiing, wake boarding, baseball etc, HE DOES IT ALL). He pretty much knows how to work it in front of the camera, you can just tell.
My sister, Alexa and friend Danica, jetted off to New York City for a week at the end of June. It was WAY TO HUMID, but FUN! The weather is interesting. Humidity was brutal, hot, and poured buckets on and off. We got caught walking 20 blocks in the pouring rain, only in New York City. The week was filled with walking, and more walking. We hit up some great area's like Soho, checked out 'Dash', and the famous 'Canal Street' to check out some luxury goods, HA. To top off our week of walking around and seeing all the tourists things, we took a TMZ tour bus. It was lovely. I enjoy a good celebrity here and there and taking that bus got to show us where Beyonce and Jay Z live, where Charlie Sheen trashed the Plaza Hotel and where the celebrities party. New York City is a fantastic place to see and a must on everyones bucket list.
